Professional Development
My commitment to learning and growing along with my students is consistently high. I am always seeking innovative teaching methods and best practices in the classroom to bring out the best in students with varied learning styles. In addition, I take advantage of professional development to enhance my journalistic skills, research methods and intellect so that I can grow as a scholar and faculty member, as well as contribute to Howard University’s legacy. I have participated in as many workshops, conferences, webinars and self-directed tutorials as possible — some through fellowships.
